Our Spring High Tea will be on Saturday June 9, 2012 from 12pm to 2 pm.  The menu will be a lovely selection of spring tastes and flavors.  We are having not only hot tea but a wonderful iced tea at this Spring High Tea.  The first course is a fresh spring salad with strawberries, apple and walnuts with a rich poppyseed dressing.  Each guest will then have a choice of soup, entrée and dessert.  In addition, each guest will enjoy an Orange Scone served with Lemon
Curd and Devon-Style Cream.  This will be the first time we will serve Orange Scones at one of Trenton Teas High Teas.

Reservations are required.  The cost is $24.00 per person, tax and gratuity not included.  Please call early as Trenton Teas High Tea events fill up quickly.

The Mad Hatter Tea Party and Trenton Teas were featured on Mohawk Valley Living this past Sunday, January 15th. The Mad Hatter and Alice were there to greet Richard and Sherry, and invite them to a sneak preview of the Mad Hatter Tea Party taking place this Saturday, January 21st at Alee’s Restaurant, 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY from 4-7 PM. Purchase your tickets here on the website at Trenton Teas, or at the Trenton Teas store or at Alee’s Restaurant. Hurry, don’t be late for this very important date! This party will be lots of fun for all. Costumes or a fun hat is optional attire. We look forward to seeing everyone at the party! There will be lots of fun finger foods and desserts–and of course the best tea from Trenton Teas at the Mad Hatter Tea Party in Utica!

A Mad Hatter Tea Party with Trenton Teas will take place at Alee’s Restaurant, 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica NY on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 4PM to 7PM.  This is a costumed Tea Party based on Lewis Carroll’s book, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”.  

The Mad Hatter Tea Party Menu will include all kinds of tea sandwiches, finger foods, scones with curd and cream, sweets, tea cookies, gourmet mini cupcakes, and other fun foods, in keeping with the Mad Hatter Party Theme.  Of course tea will be served, a selection of fine gourmet teas from Trenton Teas will be offered.  There will be an optional cash bar at the party as well.

Costumes are encouraged, or you can wear a fancy hat, but plain clothes are just fine, whatever you decide. Brian will officiate at the party as the Mad Hatter himself, with his wife Karen becoming Alice.  There will be Alice in Wonderland themed events.

Every guest who comes to the Mad Hatter Tea Party will receive as a gift an MP3 audio book and an eBook of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. 

This will be a marvelous lighthearted party to chase away the winter blues, and we look forward to seeing everybody there!

Trenton Teas Polish Style High Tea will take place on October 1st, 2011 at Alees’s Restaurant, 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY, 13501.  This is the first High Tea of the fall season for Trenton Teas.

Brian Karwowski has fashioned a menu with Polish favorites that have his own special touches.  Trenton Teas is also proud to have Barbara Bulawa from Pulaski Meat Market at 1201 Lenox Avenue in Utica, NY, 13502 be a guest chef for the Polish Style High Tea.

Each guest will have a choice of a soup,  a choice of entree, a Lemon Poppyseed Scone with Lemon Curd and Devon-Style cream, and a choice of dessert.  The menu can be seen here.  A choice of four gourmet teas from Trenton Teas will also be offered.

Call Kelly Bowen at 315-797-2181 at Alee’s Restaurant to make your reservations today, because the Polish Style High Tea will sell out quickly.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Summer Vacation at Trenton Teas Store will start July 31, 2011.  The store will reopen on Saturday, September 10th at 11 AM. 

 To continue to purchase tea and teaware at Trenton Teas store,  you can order here online at http://www.trentonteas.com, or call in an order, and we can arrange for you to pick up your purchase at the store,  Mon-Fri  11 AM to 3PM,  but the shop itself will be closed.  At the checkout page choose “In Store Pickup” under Shipping Options.  Call 315-381-5049 before picking up your orders Monday through Friday so your order will be ready.  

You can arrange for a tea event Monday through Saturday by appointment by calling Brian at 315-381-5049.  We will continue to have free Tea educational events on Wednesday evenings that we will let you know about. We will be having a High Tea in late September at Alee’s that we will let you know more about as we get closer and we firm up the details.

There will be a free Tea Tasting Event at Trenton Teas, 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica NY on Wednesday, June 8th at 6:30pm.  We will be tasting a selection of white teas and white flavored teas.  Please reserve your spot by calling 315-381-5049!

Trenton Teas will have a tea chat on Wednesday, May 18th at 6:30pm.  Learn about proper tea etiquette and how to brew the best tea and iced tea.  This is a free event.  There will be a black tea sampling with nibbles.  Seating is limited and reservations are required.  Call 315-381-5049.

St. Patrick’s High Tea will take place

On Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Alee’s Restaurant

 

UTICA, New York – February 26, 2011 – Trenton Teas will host a St. Patrick’s High Tea at Alee’s Restaurant, 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY on Sunday, March 20, 2011.  The event will be a traditional afternoon tea from 1 pm to 4 pm. 

Brian Karwowski, owner of Trenton Teas, wanted to give tea lovers the opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an afternoon tea that featured some new twists on traditional Irish favorites.  The teas featured will be a selection of fine gourmet teas from Trenton Teas. 

Each guest will have a choice of soup, traditional Irish soda bread with choice of spreads, choice of Irish entrée and dessert.  In addition,  each guest will enjoy an Oatmeal Currant scone with Lemon Curd and Cream. 

Reservations are required.  Call by Wednesday, March 16th.  The cost is $22.00 per person.
